Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office, for which she was awarded the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by the Ensemble Comedy.
Her mother, Anne played in plays at church when she was young that instilled a love of theater and performance in Jenna. Jenna was a child who watched her mother, Anne performing in church plays. This instilled in her a love for theatre.
She's a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons for Being Happy. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's latest play Meteor Shower. It was an absurdist comedic piece opposite Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
Angela Kinsey from The Office (the cast mate of Fischer) as well as her actual best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show is now extremely well-known and has been a part of the Top Ten every single week. In its first year, it received over 200 million downloads. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends The Office. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did in the production of The Office.
