Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how this revelation has affected the way she parents her adopted multiracial children. She revealed in an interview in the past that in terms of skin color the issue isn't that important. After speaking with her sister who is adopted in South Korea she realized just how differently society treats the children. I wanted to know Meg if when she was out with her parents, she received a certain treatment while out on her own she was treated with a totally different one. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year old girl that was adopted by the couple in 2012.
