Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
While I had one baby with me, and other babies within the cradle would work 12 hour shifts grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! We were getting closer to finishing, but we were a long distance away. It was going to take an enormous amount of effort and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. In order to stay within my budget, I began going to estate sales with three sons to find diamonds in the rough. We used to go on a weekly basis to visit auctions and garage sales on the weekend, and buy a variety of pieces old and newly created. My work days were spent on the drive painting or sanding. What I saw looked something like... that's when my passion to restore furniture began. I kept on restoring furniture long after we decorated our house. The local market had space to let me sell my pieces. My collection eventually grew enough that the area I had available was no longer adequate. More than 1000 people came to my house in one weekend to buy everything on the ground floor. My company Growing Days began here. Not only was my business flourishing, but I was also growing our family of four. As a mom of a child I was able to strike the right way to be able to begin my own business as well as being a decent mother. Growing Days just seemed to work. My sweet Nora arrived in the year 2013 and was our fourth child. The direction of my business was fantastic, but I was forced to get some down time. I made the decision to take some time off from my vintage furniture and remain at home with the kids. In the beginning, this was exactly what I needed. But after a short time, my phone began getting busy. There were calls from people asking me to help them with decorating their homes and interiors. A majority of them were people who walked into my house during my furniture open houses. Then I slowly took on clients in my own way. In the end, I had many customers and was operating an enterprise of renovations to homes. I'm sure you would have amused me if I had told you that this was going to be the subject of an DIY Network tv series. It's funny to think back to it.
