In the past, she made her directorial debut together with Nicole C. Mullen in The short THE GOD WHO SEES. They co-wrote all the music to the film. Gifford provides support to a variety of child-related organizations, such as Childhelp and the Association to Benefit Children which created Cassidy's place and Cody House named after her two daughters. She's an ardent humanist and has received an honorary diploma in labor relations from Marymount University.

Sage Steele works as an American sports reporter for ESPN Sports Network. She is also the anchor of SportsCenter on Sundays, from 12 12:00 noon ET.
